Our Story

The American Sign Shop story truly began in 1997 when Mike Linville purchased a small two-employee sign shop on Spring Garden Street in Greensboro. Through vision and commitment to customer satisfaction, we’ve transformed into the thriving company we are today, operating from our larger facility at Market Street and Edwardia Drive with a skilled team of ten professionals.

What started as vinyl letter cutting has evolved into a comprehensive signage powerhouse. We’ve embraced cutting-edge digital printing technology that has dramatically expanded our capabilities while reducing production costs and turnaround times. Our large flat-bed printers can handle virtually any substrate with photo-quality results, opening incredible possibilities for creative signage solutions.
